Shrine Research

In 2019, @greenriverprojectllc invited me to take part in an exhibition where they produced cabinets in collaboration with different artists and entities. The cabinet we made together draws reference from shrines of varying forms that I’ve encountered and photographed in India over the years. I put this binder together to give context to the decisions we made, focusing on display and decoration as a means of respect. The binder, as well as its printed facsimile hopefully serve as a stand-in for the actions and images held within them.
